He who has a thing to sell and goes and whispers in a well…

“He who has a thing to sell and goes and whispers in a well is not as apt to get the dollars as he who climbs a tree and hollers.” - Anon

I’m sure you’d agree that sellers and buyers want to know they’re working with the most competent and professional Realtor in the area; receiving testimonials is tangible support for marketing efforts and help substantiate our credibility.

This is another testimonial just received from one of my clients:

We had asked John Grasty to help us sell our townhouse so we could purchase our dream home.

We immediately met with John and agreed on a strategy and implementation.  We had several high traffic open houses and the literature mail out of our home was second to none that I have seen!

The entire experience was not nearly as stressful as imagined.  John kept us very informed during the process and put us at ease through his genuine nature.

After only one month on the market we accepted an offer that was within $800.00 of our asking price!  With his expertise and knowledge John also eased us through the more aggressive negotiations on what was to become our new home.

Overall, our experience was beyond positive.  John helped us in obtaining the best price on our home that we could have hoped for, and is the reason that we were able to open the door to the home of our dreams.

Thank you John!

  1. “He who has a thing to sell and goes and whispers in a well is not as apt to get the dollars as he who climbs a tree and hollers.”

This quotation can be attributed to William Thomas Phillpott. I first heard it used at a Sterling Electronics sales meeting in Houston, TX in 1978. He wrote it on a chalk board while addressing the group as the company Product Manager for NEC Processors.

  2. Thanks Harry. It’s great to give credit where it is due.
